EchoStep

Watch the steps, then echo them back — sometimes after a quarter-turn.

How to play EchoStep

  1. Press Start. Tiles on the 3×3 board light up one at a time.
  2. When the reveal ends, tap the same tiles in the same order.
  3. From round three, some rounds show Quarter-turn ↻. Picture the whole pattern turned a quarter clockwise and tap where each step lands: top-left becomes top-right, top-centre becomes middle-right, and the centre stays where it is.
  4. Each cleared round adds a step — from 3 up to 8. A slip costs one of your three lives and shows you the right order. The run ends after 8 rounds or 3 slips.

Scoring

  • A cleared round earns round number × 100 (round 1 = 100, round 2 = 200, …).
  • Clear it on your first try at that length for a +25 bonus.
  • Slips cost lives, never points.

Pace options

Standard shows each step for about two-thirds of a second. Relaxed slows that to a full second. Text mode lists the steps as words with no time limit, which works well with screen readers. Personal bests are kept separately for each pace, and shared results say which pace was used.

Switching tabs pauses the game. If that happens during a reveal, the steps replay from the start when you resume, and that run won’t count toward your best.
